In studying the Word of God, it is always helpful to try to put yourself in the shoes of the person or people in the story at hand. The encounter of the Samaritan woman with Jesus at Jacob’s well is certainly no exception. This week, we explore what possibly motivated her to talk to him the way that she did after he asked a simple question about giving him some water to drink.
