Have you ever ‘jumped the gun’ on God before? That is, have you ever gotten ahead of God answering what his will for your life is in a particular instance? Most people have at one time or another, and David’s seer (that is, prophet) Nathan is no exception. In this week’s podcast, we begin looking in Second Samuel chapter 7 at the Davidic Covenant that God makes with David and by extension with Israel, but not without a false start as Nathan answers David before he had full information from God.
